Scope moving

I was shooting the best I have ever shot, low 90's . Then the next day I had to adjust the scope high to the left, next day a little to the right and down, then the groups would open up. Though I was shooting to much so I quite for a few days. I would start all over, went to take off the scope caps and I felt the scope move forward, felt like a fool, was not a lot of play but it was enough, check scope, load gun, take off safey, shoot out 10 ring good shooting
