Better Rapid Fire Scores

A few questions and concerns on shooting better rapid fire scores.

What do you advise on shooting better rapid fire scores for service pistol? I shoot 90-96 in timed fire and still working increasingly on slow fire.

For rapid fire practice, I am shooting one shot 2 second drills and 2 shot 3 second drills. My dry firing is superb. What should I be looking for in my dry firing for rapid fire shooting?

When I shoot rapid fire, as soon as the first shot is fired and recoil is happening, I begin positive trigger pressure. With a very firm grip and tight concentration, I'm back on target. Any advise is appreciated.

Thanks,

Orion

You just listed too many things to have in your mind. You have to just be in control. All those things are good. But they each only contribute to a result of control of the sights. That result is what should be on your mind.

Thanks for the kind words guys. As time allows I will be adding a lot more to it and tweaking the content that is there. If you know other shooters that might like to see it, please pass along a link to it.

Good luck on the line!

Chris
