Any advice against Meister Hard Cast or Oregon Trail Laser-Cast bullets?

Would one be any better than the other?

Will be the first time to load .45 bullets.

New to bullseye shooting and planning on loading with WST and Bullseye powder.

Are there any other budget priced 200 grain Semi-Wadcutter bullets you would recommend?

Speer and Hornady both make nice swaged lead bullets. You can buy them at any decent gun shop in boxes of 100 for testing and in cheaper 500 bullet bulk boxes.

I also had good luck with the Laser Cast.

Hi USMC0802, Dardas is another source for very good bullets, which are very accurate
in my pistol. Dardas also has the H&G 130 and H&G 68 molds(185 and 200 gr bullets).
Dardas provides bullets in a variety of quantities: 100, 500, 1000 and
more, all at excellent prices. Best of luck with your reloading;

Tony

I think the laser-cast 200g are particularly good at the long line. Ransom rested them with two different guns and they shot great groups. Try 3.7 to 3.8 of Bullseye or 4.2g of WST.

Magnus or Zero swagged 200gr SWC for lead. Nosler 185 gr JHP for maximum accuracy.

There is a high master in our area that shoots the laser cast and they are on sale from Midway now. Scott

I use to shoot lasercast with great results back when they were made with some silver content, since silver went up they changed there alloy so dont know how good they are now, zero is the bullet of choice in my area, 185 fmj hp and the star copy 185 lswc-hp, you can buy from rose dist.

I had an order for midway this morning and wanted to add these if there weren't any bad reviews.

Thanks for all the replies

At the last minute I switched to the Dardas. 1000 for $85.
Turns out the Zero would of been the second cheapest. I always figured those would of been the most expensive.
At any rate, sounds like everyone is happy with Laser Cast and Meister.
Wont have time to ransom anytime soon. Mainly just need to get some reduced power loaded and get away from factory 230gr FMJ. Besides the cost, the recoil becomes not so much fun after a hundred or more of those!
