Can Anyone Explain One Shot Zeroing on The Noptel Trainer?

Post by Gwhite »

The instructions that come with this thing are very cryptic. I'm starting out with the "Sport" software, rather than the full blown package.

Lets say I want to shoot one zeroing shot. I'm set up for live fire, so I know where the shot went. I fire the shot, and it hits someplace other than where the Noptel indicates. The implication is that you can use the mouse to indicate where the shot actually hit, so it can use that for the zero. If I move the cursor to the shot, it changes to a bullet shape. I tried dragging that to the right location, but it immediately accepts the shot as soon as I click on it. If I just move the hand cursor to where the shot was and click, it doesn't seem like it gets the zero right. For example, if I shoot a 3 o'clock 8 and click there, all my subsequent shots show up WAY off to the left of where they actually hit.

For now, I'm using the COG zeroing series, but I'd love to be able to get the one shot zeroing figure out.

Thanks!
