We have tentatively scheduled a Zins/Moody clinic at the Gunnison Sportsman's Association in Gunnison, CO August 17th and 18th.

The clinic is presented by Brian Zins (Marine Gunnery Sergeant Ret.) 10 time National Champion and his former Coach Andy Moody (MSGT USMC ret.)
This will be a two day class, 8am – 5pm for a total of 16 hours of in depth instruction, plenty of dry firing and live fire drills with group and one on one instruction to help better understand how to improve your scores on the line. (bring your own firearms and ammunition)

The clinic will be limited to 20 people. The cost is $300 a person. If interested or for more information, email me at japurd04@yahoo.com. In a month or two I will require full payment for the clinic to ensure costs are covered. If you need to cancel and there is a waiting list, you will be refunded fully if a replacement is found. If there are nobody left on the waiting list, you will not be refunded unless you find a replacement.

Also, on Sunday the 19th we are also hosting the Robbin Vinnola Memorial 2700 at our club so you have a chance to use what you have learned the previous two days.

Thanks!

Thanks for all the interest on attending this clinic, it is filling up fast and we are excited to be able to host it. Several people have been emailing with similar questions so here is some more info:

Where is Gunnison?
Southwest Colorado, a town of about 5800 people, Gunnison is at 7700 feet in elevation in the Rocky Mountains and offers a lot for vacation and siteseeing adventures.

Airports?
Gunnison has a small regional airpot that offers flights from Denver, Houston, and Dallas/Fort Worth. The airport code is GUC. United (Denver), American (Dallas/Fort Worth), and Continental (Houston) are the providers.

A lot of people fly into Denver International (DEN) and rent a car and drive to Gunnison. It is about a 4:45 drive to Gunnison from the airport.

If I fly, is there a place to buy ammo?
Yes, I will have CCI standard Velocity available for price. Or you can ship ammo to me and I can bring it for you.

Weather?
August weather is awesome. Average temps for mid August are highs at 74 and lows at 42.

Suggested hotels?
There are several in Gunnison. Only about a mile from the gun club is the water wheel inn (http://www.waterwheelinnatgunnison.com/). There is a nice supper club next door.
The newest hotel is the holiday inn express.

Thanks for the interest and email me with any other questions.
