NRA Request for Information Concerning Flying with Guns

Post by Soupy44 »

You will read in the attachment: "NRA is looking for specific information on the treatment of the shooting community by airlines, airports and the TSA." NRA is asking competitive shooters to report experiences, both good and bad, you've had while flying to shooting competitions with your firearms. So that NRA employees will have something to report to the NRA Board on January 7th, please send in your input ASAP to the e-mail address or FAX number mentioned in the attachment. Feel free to forward this request to your competitive shooter contacts, home club members, etc. I know it is the holidays, but competitive shooters have great e-mail lists so please help! Thanks!

This would be a great opportunity to share your flying with air-guns stories. Specifically "Can you open that cylinder for me please?" comments. I've heard of others who have had pellets dumped out, broken stocks and spotting scopes.
