Hey,

I was wondering, what type of bag do you use to transport all of you rifle stuff? I am currently using a suitcase, but it does not fit all of my stuff for 10m precision air rifle.

Ogio 9800 gear bag. A little pricey but you can get a good deal online if you are patient.

We just went through that. Found a couple of great drop bottom rolling duffle bags at Costco. Lifetime warranty and about $40 verses $80 to $200 elsewhere. The 30" model will hold ALL your gear. Try costco.com to look at them.

I'm going through this too...trying to stuff 3-P gear into a bag that I can still pick up to carry down the stairs and put in the car. I've been using www.ebags.com because they have free shipping both ways and great prices- order one and send it back if it doesn't work.

I would suggest a 30" drop-bottom wheeled duffel. Pay attention to the listed measurements, and measure your gear (scope stand poles can be long). Also think about things like, can you fit your shooting coat in without folding it in half, do you need to pick the bag up by yourself (handle placement), and how big is the opening to the main compartment.

I ended up settling for a 5.11 rolling gear bag "Mission Ready"- fits all the 3-P gear, and my coat and pants get their own compartment.

go to home depot, lowes, or any of the other home improvement stores and get a plastic storage box with wheels and a handle. I have been using mine for a couple years and it is like a rolling garbage pail. Never have problems finding the palm rest in the bottom, and when I am done shooting, pile everything in any way it fits and it is good to go. as a bonus, I strap my hard rifle case to the top with bungee cords and wheel everything in one trip from the truck to the range. My rifle three position accessory case is about 40 inches by 15 inch by 18 inch and it is just the correct size.

cost about 35 bucks and when it breaks, I will get a replacement. I tried the wheeled soft cases and could not find all the crud you need for three position shooting but with the hard case, once you got the mat, coat, and stand out of there, the rest is right there to pick off the bottom. No compairison.
