How to replace a firing pin a Trailside.

Post by runningfree »

I was wondering how to remove and then replace the safety lever, spring and detent on a Trailside?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Any thought to calling Larry Carter? Dianna will answer your call and she can give you some kind of feedback. My Hammerli P240 gummed up and I sent it to him for a pristine cleaning. He does great work.

Well I just hate to call someone who I did not buy the gun from and ask for help.

But it is looking like that is what I will have to do.

Thanks.

I have two, and have never messed with them. I don't like the trigger and Larry Carte will be putting his trigger tune up in each. Once I find the schematic for the gun, I think I may just go ahead and pop mine out ant then walk you thru it.
