Rink Grips laminated or not

Post by little_doodie »

I have been tossing it around in my head for a while.
I have decided to order Rink grips for my HS Victor and I called in the order with laminated grips.
The added costs are not alot but would I be better off with solid wood?

I have seen at least three failures on Rink laminated grips. Two on NRA- bullseye palm shelves, and one International split down the middle on a walther grip. I stick to solid walnut and have had no problem.

I did hear of possible issues with laminated.
I did hear Rink took care of the issue.
I also know laminated is very good for rifles but I don't think there would be the same benifit for pistols.
I am thinking I will change my order.

Well I went with walnut grips.
They look fine and feel fine.
I have not fired with the grips yet but they really feel fine dry firing.
