Shooting is a very hard and fun sport.
That much I learned on my first year of shooting, and would like to thank all, here and in the meets I participated for the help and advice shared.
If anything I now know how hard I need to work to improve my best scores:
525 air pistol competition, 540 practice
469 free pistol competition, 491 practice
I shot other modalities but I am sticking with these two.
I just would like to thank all, that directly or indirectly helped me here at the site, and elsewhere for all the advice, and for Pilkguns to support this site, which I believe is a great fora for many worldwide, specially the beginners like me without any coaching but a big desire to learn this sport.
PS. I wish there were year round meets for air and free pistol in the North East USA.
The Season is over, thank you all for the help!

Re: Your PS.
I'm pretty sure there ARE matches year round in your area. It's only here in the desert that we shut down during the summer. Most places have MORE matches now.
Check with both NRA and USA Shooting and you could probably go to a different match nearly every weekend.
If you have a .22 semi-auto you could shoot Bullseye frequently.
Have fun!

Fundamemtals dont change . One hand pistol shooting may be the most demanding task a shooter can try.Ezcelling is always a challenge and three gun NRA 2700 matches can keep you on your game in lean times of free p[istol And rapid fire. You will find that trigger control and sight allignment are very much the same. Have at it and enjoy the fun. Good Shooting Bill Horton

Bullseye matches at Holmsberg every month. I plan to go to the military pistol match there this Sunday at 1000.paulo wrote:Shooting is a very hard and fun sport.
