Our junior program is looking to purchase some new rifles to expend our inventory, unfortunately cost is a challenge.
Does anyone have any experience with the Entry level Izhmash CM-2 line of rifles.
Thank you
Ron

We use several CM-2's (Cadets) on our junior 3-P programs.
Actually had one of our juniors get a 1st round invite to JO's firing one this year. They'll do the job
Things that help w/ these rifles.... Tune the trigger down to a lighter weight and knock off the front sight, put on a 10-12" extension tube ... helps increase the short (cadet) sight radius w/o adding too much weight.
We use a Daisy 887 front sight globe.

I have had many with our junior program and they are great little guns.
the only draw backs are the rail is not a standard width so Anschutz stuff doesn't fit. and the trigger needs to be tweeked to make it crisp but by far it is the best bang for the buck. They shoot well and they fit the kids well.
