I'm new to air pistol but I wanted to buy some equipment and start practicing. I found DAK Sports on the web and was having trouble reaching them via telephone and email. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming that their having technical difficulties. But, it's been quite a while and I'm starting to wonder.

Has anyone here done business with DAK Sports, are they a viable company?

I personally would not deal with them. Never really have had an email returned from them, just overall communication and service from what i have seen has been pretty poor. Also.. a shooter at our club sent them a styer air rifle and never go it back!? this was 3 years ago. needless to say he was not too happy. never could get a hold of them...

If you are in Canada, i would deal with Jocelyn Langois at Cibles canada targets, or from Peter Krause at International imports. both of these companies (espeically cibles) has excllent service and i have done over a dozen orderes from each place. no complaints so far! good prices for the most part too

I have to echo Jordan's sentiments. I will never deal with this company again, based on my experience in the past year; simply too unreliable. I suggest you look elsewhere.

Agreed! Cibles and International Imports are great.

I ordered an air rifle and no reply. They do have good prices compare to the USA. There's no communication available. No one answers the phone, can't leave a message because it's always full. No return on emails.
Why do business on the internet if you can't handle it?????

No communication whatsoever!!!!!

Looks like I lucked out with them, I picked up a sling, handstop and bipod from them about a year ago or so. It took about a month for shipping and when it arrived it had the wrong sling in the box, it seems they were out of what I ordered and shipped the next lowest in the line... Had to ship it back and have them ship the one I would have prefered. I actually was able to get ahold of derek via email and he said he'd give me a discount on the sling but that never happened. I've since chosen to take my dollars elsewhere.

DAK Sport formerly Illingsworth, hasn't really been any good since it was sold by Ray McDougall (Airguns Only) he was a great businessman.

In Canada I either deal with Jocelyn @ Cibles Canada Target, Scott Pilkington, International Imports or get it directly from Europe.
