Need some help ID'ing free pistol

Guys, Someone over at TFL suggested I give you guys a try.
I have what I think is an early generation Hammerli .22 single-shot.
It has no brand or writing other the "127" on the bottom of mag well and an "89" on the barrel. Theres a 4 pointed star with what looks like a hammer on the backstrap and on barrel.
11" Barrel by the way.
Here's a link to pics with furinture removed. Sure like to fire this thing as soon as I figure out how it works.
Any help would be great.

Its difficult to ID it when its stripped down. We don't usually see them in this condition.

The action and barrel sure appear to be Hammerli. The grip appears to be a modified original grip.

Has similarities to mid-fifties Hammerli 102, although fore-end wood looks deeper. I suppose you've already got this far...
