USA SHOOTING WORLD SHOTGUN CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM SELECTION MATCH




COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (September 11, 2008) – For the first time, ESPN360.com, the online home for live sports, will webcast a USA Shooting competition. ESPN360.com will telecast LIVE the Double Trap and Skeet World Shotgun Championship Team Selection match finals from the Olympic Training Center shooting venue in Colorado Springs, Colo. on September 15 and 16.



U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit members Glenn Eller (Katy, Texas) and Vincent Hancock (Eatonton, Ga.), who are both 2008 Olympic Gold Medalists, along with other USA Shooting National Team members will be competing for spots on the 2009 World Shotgun Championship Team in Men’s Double Trap and Skeet respectively. Four-time Olympian and 2008 silver medalist Kimberly Rhode (El Monte, Calif.) and 2007 Pan American gold medalist Haley Dunn (Eddyville, Iowa) will be vying for positions on the Women’s Skeet Team. The World Shotgun Championships will be held August 7-16, 2009 in Maribor, Slovakia.
