Bob Mitchell (CEO of USAS) made an intriguing announcement at the competitors meeting last week.
Apparently, a member of our Target Talk family (Stan Pace) has inked a deal with USAS and Kruger for a product line of USAS approved, high quality (but low price) competition targets to be marketed to clubs/individuals worldwide.
I think the market is initially clubs looking for an alternative to the Edelmans, at a "value" price, that will help support USAS and the national development team.
Some of the profits/licensing fees go back to USAS to support junior programs.
Does anyone know more details? Bob was kind of sketchy on details (like pricing, and how the money would flow back into junior programs, etc.).
Stan, do you have any more details?
How is this program going to work?
I can imagine USAS will get some kind of "bulk discount" from Kruger and they will pass those savings along to U.S. customers?
I know of several clubs in Texas that have been searching for a high-quality alternative to the current pricey options . . .
