Marvel Lower & Ejector

Post by Bozo »

What say the experts: Is there any reason to install the ejector on a dedicated Caspian lower, seeing as the Marvel upper has its own? It will look better cosmetically, and keep dirt out, but...?

My dedicated Marvel lower has one. Reason unknown to me. Built frame up on a Baer frame by R.Toyota. But its there, maybe in case I want to change it to 45 use someday

Thanks, jackh. If Roddy Toyoda sees fit to install it on his custom lowers, then I had better do likewise!

Ejector in a Marvel frame

Post by lonnieh »

If you shoot a 45 frame that does NOT have an ejector, there will be a nice little "tunnel" for escaping gas to blast you in the face should the 22 case fail.

In the interest of safety, please don't consider leaving out the frame mounted ejector, even though it isn't needed for functionality.
