Help with install of Nygord turbo comp on older FWB.

I have a FWB c-2 that I'd like to (finally) install a turbo comp that I bought off of Scott a while back. It looks like I just need to knock out the fat pin below the barrel to loosen the whole/existing front sight base but I'm not sure. Figured I'd ask before jumping in. Does anybody know if the pin comes out either way? tricks?
