2006 NORTHEAST REGIONAL OUTDOOR RIFLE & PISTOL CHAMPIONSHIP. USA SHOOTING SACTIONED

MIDLAND, MICHIGAN

SPONSORED BY RIVERSIDE SHOOTING CLUB

Date: June 4, 2006

Range: Midland County Sportsman’s Club, 8825 Sturgeon Rd., Midland, MI 48640 (From South: US-10 to Eastman Rd. Exit. At traffic light go straight past Lowe’s to Sturgeon Rd., right on Sturgeon 1.4 miles to Club on the left.)

Time Limit: English Match 30 minutes; International championship; 60 minutes prone, 90 minutes standing, 75 minutes kneeling. Targets will be posted in 20 shot stages. Finals: 75 seconds per shot.

Course of Fire:

Match No. 1 English Match 60 Shots Prone (English Match) (20 fired shots plus the prone stage from 3P, Match 2, men, women 40 shots plus prone from match 2)
Match No. 2 Men 40 Shots Prone / Women 20 Shots
Match No. 3 Men 40 Shots Standing / Women 20 Shots
Match No. 4 Men 40 Shots Kneeling / Women 20 Shots
Match No. 5 Total of Matches 2, 3 & 4
Match No. 6 Finals (Top 8 shooters Match 5, Match 8 – 10 shots standing, 75 seconds per shot)
Match No. 7 Three Person Team (Total of match 5 both men and women)
Match No. 8 Men’s Free Pistol – 60 shots fired in 30 shot relays
Match No. 9 Three Person Pistol Team (Total of match 8)

Miscellaneous: All shooters must be a member of USA Shooting. Foreign shooters must be members of their National Association. Limit 32 shooters, Rifle matches will be fired on A-51 targets, Pistol on 50 meter or 50 yard pistol targets. Membership applications will be available for USA Shooting. Shooters will furnish their own clips, wind indicators will be displayed forward of the firing line by the match sponsor. No food served. If more than 16 shooters, relay 2 will fire alternately with relay 1 for each position. Otherwise there will be 30 minutes between positions. EAR AND EYE PROTECTION AND OPEN BOLT INDICATORS (OBI) ARE MANDITORY.

Classification: USA shooting classification will be used. If a shooter does not have an international classification, they will be assigned a classification using their highest smallbore classification. League averages and temporary score books will be allowed. There will be no combining of classes or classifications. Categories: Senior s and Juniors meeting the following age requirements: “J1” Competitors who have their 18th to 20th birthday in 2006; “J2” Competitors who have their 15th to 17th birthday in 2006; “J3” Competitors who will not reach their 15th birthday in 2006.

Rules: Current USA Shooting International rules will govern.

Entry Fee: $20.00 for Match 1 & 5, 8, ($25.00 for individual matches if entered separately). Teams $5.00 each.

Awards: Winner, Second, Third, medals only.

Challenges: A $2.00 challenge fee will be charged. All challenges will expire 30 minutes after time posted on score sheet. Targets will be displayed but cannot be plugged or gauged by anyone except range personnel. Plugging or gauging by other than range personnel will result in disqualification of the individual shooter performing the plugging or gauging.
