I do hope that someone out there can help me with my latest problem. I bought a 45 degree, very small German spotting scope from Don Nygord a couple of years ago. I like it very much and it is small and light enough to travel well.
However, this weekend while at a 3-p match, it all of a sudden can not be focused. I had used it Friday night for a league match, then on Saturday it just would not focus. When you turn the eyepiece to focus, all it does is to unscrew from the body. I must have tightened it down too much, but I don't think so since when I am finished shooting, I just pack it away until next time.
Any ideas of where to send it would be appreciated. I hate to think of having to send it back to Germany for repairs, but I can do that if I have to. People can respond to me at my email: bawilli@attglobal.net
Thanks in advance, Don in Oregon

scope source
Don,
I'm pretty sure the scope you refer to is a model that I was also interested in several years ago. I believe the following California source:

had what looked to be an identical scope to the one Don Nygord was selling. Their price was a bit less than Don's and their scope was not said to be made in Germany, but everything else about it appeared to be the same. It might be worth a call to their 800 number to see if they can help you.

Thanks to all for the info. I will contact the scope company to see what they can tell me. I don't know about changing eyepieces, since I don't think that is the problem.
Anyway, thanks everyone so far. Don in Oregon
