In my quest for Match Pistols powered by CO2 Powerlets I had almost given up hope when I came across the Brocock adapter for some of the Rohm Match pistols. Looking at the picture, it seems all one does is unscrew the CA cylinder from the pistol, screw in CO2 powerlet holder, insert powerlet and screw down retainer to pierce. My question to the technically minded members is; if the ca cylinder connection is a universal standard, theorhetically the Brocock CO2 adapter could be used on any gun with the same connector? I think I may be right because when I put this to a technical rep at Brocock, there was a long pause, followed by, "no, that was never the intention". Not, 'no, it's Rohm only'; which makes me believe it may work. Could it be this simple? Or have I missed something out?
The reason I wish to use CO2 Powerlets is that I have Parkinsons and they are much easier to use. Performance wise there's no issue because my TAU 7, with 12g powerlet, punchs neat holes at 10m.
