I wish...... I lost mine in 1997 when centre fire pistols were banned in the UK.
A brilliant pistol in .32 S&W long.
Careful! Levine doesn't want any political discussions on this site.

It's not just me.
I don't remember you shooting a Manurhin Brian, and we certainly shot next to each other enough times.

The first shipment of the new M MMR73 Match revolvers with the lightweight issf hammers has arrived in Australia.
Do You think the quality will suffer with Beretta taking over. My thinking is they are going to cut quality to produce more guns to get a faster ROI.

Beretta have nothing to do with the production or quality of Manurhin, which is the sole responsibility of Chapius Armes the owners of the Manurhin range of pistols.
Beretta Australia have simply secured the importation and distribution rights within Australia. They have taken over this responsibility from Euroarms, an Adelaide based company who have had a long relationship with Manurhin dating back many decades.

Not a discussion, just a statement of fact.

The acquisition by Beretta Holding will allow Chapuis Arms to exploit the group’s vast international sales network to expand its business, and will provide the Beretta Holding with the necessary know-how to further expand itself in the field of hunting and sporting firearms, and now also in the revolver segment.
That says to me increase production and cut quality.

I was unaware that Beretta now have a major share of Chappius Armes....this may change the dynamics either way.

I really hope the quality does not suffer. They are really nice revolvers and it should stay that way.

The entire shipment has been sold now !
The last one left was an 8 inch barrel Manurhin MR73 Sport in .357, and a friend of mine picked that up..
Also, those of you who are concerned about change of quality now that Beretta controls Chapuis Armes - you have nothing to be worried about.
I've seen 2 Manurhins from this shipment, and the polishing, blueing, fit & finish are superb.

I still drool over the MR73 I saw and handled at the only gun shop in Geneva, Switzerland years ago. Very expensive. Ended up back in the States with a beautiful M14 that Don Hamilton had worked some of his magic on.
To top off my visit, the shop owner invited me downstairs, two floors below where he had , believe it or don't, a 4 position indoor range where we tested some of his 9mm Gendarme loads. The shop also was a Dillon dealer!
