I believe answers to this question should be from people who have owned both manual and electronic triggers.
As an owner of both in .177 and .22 I prefer the electronic trigger and have had no trouble with the E, but have had problems with manual triggers over the years.

Manual? As opposed to Automatic?

I have an Electrical Engineering degree, so there is a bias.
Electronics used to be a hobby of mine as well. This was when you could easily solder components on to the circuit board with a soldering iron. Now it's much harder to do.

I dear say that there would have been a tonne of r/d was under taken before these were put into the market. There will be failures with ANY product no matter how long it's been available and no matter how many versions of it there have been..!

I was very surprised to see that nobody has a board for an LP10. Does anyone know if the Evo board can be used instead?

Maybe some of these members that can make boards themselves could make some money supplying all the obsolete boards.
