Don't be in a hurry to buy a custom grip, especially an off-the-shelf item. Try working more with your present grip; you know, files and putty. At least then you won't be whinging about high prices, poor fit, and shoddy workmanship.

Thank you sir, exactly what I am thinking.
By the way - today in range this happened.
3 shots.

Seems like once I have the grip - the shots are having neat grouping.
My electronic target is coming - from

Turns out my 2 shooting friends have cross dominant eye

Gwhite wrote: Sat Aug 21, 2021 10:55 am One thing that I found helped a lots when I've shot cross-dominant is an offset grip. Rink makes them with a 7 degree twist so the pistol lines up more naturally with my aiming eye. That puts your arm & wrist in a more comfortable position, but lines the sights up with you dominant eye. Before I got one, I was constantly fighting to keep the pistol lined up sideways because my wrist wanted to be straighter.
Turns out my 2 shooting friends have cross dominant eye.
That helped. All 3 of us are cross dominant. One of us is left handed, rest right handed.
It is crazy. The range never had 1 cross dominant shooter - suddenly there are 3!
And they were all exhibiting my problems - so I think this thread will help them massively.

If your vision is good in both eyes, and you aren't strongly cross dominant, you don't necessarily have to shoot that way. If you use a blinder, you can often shoot just fine. Lots of people have a fairly weak dominance, and it's not a big deal. We had one college shooter who figured out she was cross-dominant after shooting at a very high level for 3 years. Her scores did not suddenly jump up when she switched, even with an offset grip.

You may also be able to retrain your brain to work with the eye matching your dominant hand. My wife was on the college team when she was an undergraduate, and wore an eye patch on her dominant eye for a while. She helped set a team National Record shooting with her newly dominant eye.

Try a variety of eye dominance tests (there are a bunch on YouTube), and see if you get 100% consistent results. One thing they don't stress is that you need to be squarely facing the thing you are looking at. The slightest twist in your body can bias things. If you get mixed results, you aren't strongly dominant, and I'd try switching.

Actually, I had no idea that I could not close my left eye until I went to military service at the age of 33.
Upon the advise of the commander, during my shooting training I used an eye patch which I made in the barracks using underwear string and a piece cut from an x-ray card.

So, my dominant eye is left but when I started AP shooting, I just made a blinder. Shooting cross dominant did not make sense at all.

Not a better score but all in the 8 ring.

Must be a good day after 15 day— the joy of uniting with my pistol :)

I am massively screwed. I had multiple massive infection in right eye that ran for a week ( used to study in boarding school ) - and that almost went to a point of costing my right eye - if not right doctor saw it on right time.
I attribute it ( honestly ) to karma.
When I was barely 6, I used to keep frogs ( do not ask why). I made one of the frogs lose it's eye - I think by accident - I cried a lot - and I knew it is just waiting for me eventually to screw me up. It happened.
I had perfect eye sight - and suddenly almost no vision in right eye - and then it slowly came back.
And then I had to wear glasses.
But I had no clue that I was cross dominant - till I found all shots are going to left. All. And then I figured out - by searching internet - to test for cross dominance. Then I found out if I somehow make the stance more open - facing the target - my arc of movement is .. near perfect.
And my scored went up and up and up all the way to 97/100 one day - the next day my AP 20 trigger broke ( became hard )
https://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.ph ... 9&start=15

And at that point I decided I need to get help ( even online ) from real pros - like you guys.
And to be honest - that one paid off. Absolutely. The amount of knowledge I gained - the amount of issues and errors I fixed thanks you all -
Gwhite sir, William sir.. invaluable.

Tachus 10m, in India costs 1.5L INR which comes up to 1600 EURO.
Not sure if they are ready for international shipping.
==EDIT===
They just confirmed they installed more than 300 machines in EU.

20 Shots. Chilling n Shots.
Post office works.

0 Prep time.
I do not have a moving target - so I shoot 10 shots - then I watch all of them and then shoot again next 10.
( as of now, soon to be changed ).
I think all of your feedback helped.
Still 2 random 8s, exact same position ( almost ).
What can be the cause?

Two "off" shots in the same place? I would bet that you are squeezing your whole hand at trigger pull. Sometimes this is caused by trying to fire your shot as the bull "drifts by" your sight (sometimes called "ambushing" the bull). Make sure you are only watching your sights. It could also be just a fluke.

BTW Eleven pages to answer "a question" may be a new record here.

You have a lot more information on the bad shots than we can get from a hole in the paper.

Did you call those shots? Did it seem like the pistol just wobbled over there, or did it move at the last second?

Most likely issues are holding too long, and/or forcing the shot off and tensing your grip in anticipation. It doesn't take much to throw a shot out into the 8 ring.

Apologies, can not change the title of the original thread.
We can.. imagine it was Question[s]. Lot of them really.
So, something not right about today:

Image Image

This lower 8 is a systemic error.
Both has 10 shots each. honest.
In the left one, clear grouping. In the right - no grouping. And still 5 10s - who are literally in the same holes again and again.

Looks to me like you are forcing your shots off, i.e. "jerking the trigger."

There are lots of diagnostic charts out there. Here's my favorite:
