I think you are right. The box I have is different than yours and the back has a sticker that reads "H&N Sport Gmbh"

Another interesting thing from your video is that the best (most consistent WRT weight) and worst (less consistent) pellets (the Gamo) have comparable prices (about $5/500)

my Krale box has the exact same sticker on the back. They just changed the lid this year when Krale changed the logo.

i didn;t do a price comparison because i bought the boxes in different places (Romania, Bulgaria, Holland)

I've bought the Gamo (5 or 6 tins) from Krale, and the Krale pellets (1 tin) were a gift included with the purchase. I wish I knew back then your results.

i also tested a while back the accuracy of the pellets, using the Artemis CP1-M. can;t figure out how to clamp the FWB100 in a vice
HN Krale was near the top there as well, and Gamo at the bottom. HN Excite performed well also

My results, such as they are, have always been the same whether using RWS Diablo Basic or any of their more expensive pellets. I just went to order more the other day. It seems they're now only selling tins of 300 pellets for about the same price that the 500 pellet tin used to cost. H&N Excite still come in 500 tins and cost $4.99. Will have to try them.

The excite pellets will disappoint you.
the fit and finish on them is quite poor.

There are a couple of versions. The "Plinking" ones are not good. The "Econ" ones are ok.

I want you to know I'll be shooting these pellets at the range in the morning and on Sat. for the NRA Air Pistol Sectional match.

I've been using JSB Simply Airgun Pellets, 8.02 gr, of late. Inexpensive and quite good. About what the RWS Basic costs, $7.50 per 500. About the same cost as RWS basic if you order from Pyramid with their buy four tins for the price of three pricing. You will save a bit on shipping with the JSB because you're getting 2000 pellets per order vs 1200 per order with the RWS Basic.

I like 7 grain pellets. My rational is lower recoil, and faster acceleration for a shorter barrel time. These two come into play especially with a poorly triggered shot.
Probably doesn't matter, but most of this game is in my head, and the placebo effect is strong.

Good head is hard to find.....or is it hard head is good to find?

I have to admit that I usually buy RWS Basics, but sometimes I get a good deal on something else and I'll grab it, hoping it will do as well as the Basics.

I shot an air pistol match last night and set my own personal record with a 549.
I am trying to 'tune in' to my new pistol and begin to be more attentive to the subtle differences in feel and position when competing.

The 'feel' for how the pellets were loading into the barrel was very inconsistent.
Loading many pellets (40%) felt like they were dropping into the barrel with no effort to seat them.
Other pellets (20%) took a noticable push to get them into the barrel.
The rest of the pellets were in between.
The Pardini K12 is very different than other pistols that I have used. It requires the user to push the pellet into the barrel. It does NOT a 'loading tray' or have any mechanical device to push the pellet into the barrel like the Hammerli PRO or Walther LP400 that we have. Those pistols have a mechanical system that pushes the pellet into the barrel. Those pistols have so much mechanical advantage that there is no way I have ever felt any difference when loading a pellet.

C'mon, you're the coach. Empty your head of everything but the shot process.

I use the plastic 100 round shaker boxes for matches. That allows me to scan the whole box worth of skirts very quickly. Every once in a while, I will see a pellet that is suspect, and pitch it. Even with RWS Basic, it's a once every couple tins event.
