San Jose Air Gun Program

Post by Dean Peterson »

You are welcome to come by the San Jose Municipal Firing Range any Saturday between 10:30 and 2 pm.

I'll assume that you are an experienced adult shooter - if not, then you are welcome to come and learn!

www.SCVRC.com

You may not get an opportunity to shoot right away - kids have the priority - but you will at least have a chance to see our program in action.

We are looking for adults who can help us get a structured air rifle program started - it would have to be an evening event - Thursday or Monday - seasonaly.

You will have to become a member of the Santa Clara Valley Rifle Club in order to have access to the facility. We can explain that process when we meet. In the mean time - there are many ways that non-members can help.

We have a good selection of starter and some advanced equipment. But more importantly we have a growing # of young shooters who could benefit from your example as a more experienced shooter.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in helping with - please reply.

Thanks,
Dean Peterson

United Sportsmen International (Diablo Rod and Gun Club division) in Concord has a 10m indoor winter league, and ongoing silhouette matches throughout the year. Lots of fun.
