Have a look at the 10m hall for Beijing http://en.beijing2008.cn/cptvenues/venu ... 5726.shtml and see how many bits that do not comply with the ISSF rules you can spot

Rules that seem to be violated
6.3.6.5.1 - area for spectators 5m behind firing line, with suitable barrier
6.3.6.7 - large clock at each end of hall
6.3.6.8 - target numbers to be provided
6.3.15.4 - even illumination on targets

seems to be a computer derived picture, no real pictures seem to be around as yet, artistic license by whoever did it

Er - it's an 'illustration'.

Lets wait until the place is actually completed before pulling it apart. There will be plenty of ISSF officials who will ensure the fine details are adhered to, in time for both the world cup and the olympics itself.

I think you'll find that the link in the original post is the "real thing".

I do agree though that there is plenty of time for the majority of the items to be sorted. The uneven illumination of the general range area is however somewhat concerning. I presume/hope that the didn't have all of the lights turned on when the picture was taken.

Yep my mistake, the second link was an illustration.

My points are however still valid as it is a 'work in progress' that has not been finalised yet. There's another 6 months to go until the olympics, although admitedly the world cup there is in April. That is also one of the functions of the preceeding world cup, to iron out any last remaining niggles.

I also can't see any overt issues with the lighting. It's a video picture over the web and to me it just looks like some reflections off the roof, in the images.
