Suhl Rifle Parts?

Suhl parts
We run a 4-H program in Texas and have one Suhl 150 in the club. This was an East German lower cost answer to Anschutz in the 70's and 80's. Parts are virtually nonexistant. Numrich doesn't list it on their site. (as of yesterday) We have an excellent gunsmith that works with us and his take on the Suhl was " You better not break anything cause I'll have to fabricate it from scratch." There are some Suhl's available for sale from the Kerr Co. 4-H program in texas. Buying a few spares might be the best insurance for spare parts for these rifles. If anyone has a source for parts, we would also be interested. Good luck and good shooting.
Re: Suhl Rifle Parts?
Suhl is world renowned for the multitude of firearm manufacturers that were or are currently in existance in and around the city. There are (and have been) many small shops that have made competition rifles, pistols, and shotguns that are very ornate to say the least. The facility that made your rifle may very well be 'out of business' but if you were to contact sources in the Suhl area you will more than likely find the person who was responsible for designing and building the rifle. Sounds like a fun search!GuyTaylor wrote:Anyone have any luck finding parts for the Suhl 150?
