NRA award points

Post by B.T.Carstensen »

I know I have some NRA award points but I don't know exactly how many I have. Is there a place that I can go to find out how many I have? And if I want to spend then at Champions Chioce or Champion shooters how would I do that?
Thanks,

They're worth $1US each.

I usually figure out how many I have by counting them:-)

HS and College shooters can not accept or use NRA points

Post by RangeMom »

BT,

I noticed in a subsequent thread that you will be applying for college rifle teams. Please be advised that if you want to shoot in college under NCAA rules, you may not accept and use NRA points (since they have a cash value) once you become a college prospect ( defined as high school freshman or later). Please contact an NRA compliance officer at any of the colleges offering rifle as a sport for complete detials. There was a ruling some time ago on this topic. Perhaps another member can shed mort details.

Thanks for the heads ups, I would rather go through the clearing house then make a couple of bucks.
