Hello all,
Adrian here. Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I am a new target pistol shooter. A long time ago, I fooled around with smallbore rifle shooting and never had the time to pursue it. Since those years I have played around on public ranges but never really liked the atmospere that most indoor ranges provided (I am not into poking headshots into B27s with 9mms)
Anyways I have always liked poking holes in paper and shooting small things like popcorn on strings with my Ruger MKII until I discovered that there were these really neat guns that were super accurate and costed more money than some of my motorcycles *yikes*
Well here I am today looking to get started in the sport of target shooting. At the moment I only have a Twinmaster 4.5mm air pistol to start out with but I am looking to purchase a decent rimfire standard pistol (can someone find me a IZH35M?)
I am a Washignton State resident so if any of you are from my area, please let me know where I can go to attend some events!
Thanks Everyone =)
New to target talk.

Welcome back to the precision shooting arena. Although I've never been to your area of the country (other than a brief touchdown in Seattle), I have a link to a shooting range somewhere out there that "specializes in International pistol (ISSF)." Check out the Wildlife Committee of Washington, Inc. in Bothell:

I hope they aren't too far from you...

Bubba,
Ed has it right on. WCW in Bothell has a very active program. Too bad you just missed our annual air pistol league (but join us for the last two weeks, anyway: Thursdays at 7:00). Free pistol evey Monday at 7:00 (and some of us shoot it with sports pistols, the object is to improve skills, not show off the finest hardware (but you will see a bit of that, too)).

My friend told me to take up golf. He said golf would teach me the lessons of humility. I told him I shot free pistol, so I had all the humility I could stand.

Hi Bothell Bob.
I just happen to live in Bothell (Thrashers Corner)
I plan on joining the Kennmore range here in a few days. I will try to make it out one night to the air pistol leauge and check it out. I will most definitely need to improve my skills. I quit smoking a while back. Now all I need to do is stay away from Starbucks and I should be able to put at least one round in the ten ring *LOL*
