Is the new Steyr factory actually IN Austria (where you are posting from)? What town/area?
It doesn't look terribly big - will it have a range too?

I understand when a company builds a new plant from scratch its called a "greenfield plant" ... I guess in this case its a "white field" plant :)

the factory is in the same town as its present. location, Ernsthofen, about 15 km from Steyr itself. The long wall down the one side is the 50m range, the meter range is just to the right of hthat, which is in front of the assembly area.

50m range, does that mean they are going to start making Free Pistols again or match rifles?

So, are they still manufacturing rifles, or is the delivery of mid April a pipe dream for the new LG110 Air rifle. While they are building a new facility

Rhonda at Pilkguns told me last week they don't expect to have any until middle of April. Wanted an LG110 light for my daughter.

problem is that everyone wants 110s, I cannot believe how many people we have wanting them, and apparently everybdoy else around the world does too. I believe they are best 10m rifle on the market today, and apparently so do a lot of others

I was in Ulm today visted Anschutz and new Waltehr plant... pics up later

Wow!! Two new plants in the same part of the world dedicated to the shooting sports. Having been to the Walther plant, during the first Pilkgun’s tour of Germany, they were past due for a new plant. The old plant in Ulm was very congested with very little space to expand and on several floor levels in a very narrow building. I guess this means that both companies are doing well and the future look good for both.
