Ranges in Washington (Rockville area)

Post by RobStubbs »

There's a slim chance I might be flying over there this week and an even slimer chance that I may have a bit of free time. On the off chance that everything comes together in my favour, I was wondering if there's any ranges in that area ?

Thanks in advance,

Rob.

Field Target in Damuscus MD (30 miles north of DC)

Post by jrmcdaniel »

There is probably an extremely slim chance that your interest is airgun Field Target (and you have free time, etc.). If so (or you are interested in trying this sport/game), we have a match scheduled at our club on Saturday. http://www.damascusiwla.org and look for "Field Target". We can get you a gun.

If you are around Monday evening, we shoot airgun (mostly 10M pistol but rifle if the weather is reasonable) at about 6pm.

Best,

Joe McDaniel

Thanks guys for the replies. If I do get over it will probably be arriving Thurs pm and flying home again Fri or Sat so I certainly won't have much time. If I fly Sat then that gives me Fri afternoon / evening free but that'll be it.

Poole,
If I go (come) over it will be for a 1 1/2 hour meeting and at such short notice there's little else I can do.

<edit>
Scrap that my boss is now going instead :-(

DARN!!!!

we're gonna miss having you visit!!!

Plan a meeting for Phoenix instead, there's a lot more shooting opportunities out here! especially in the cool months

I'll get over there, hopefully next year on holiday if not sooner with work. Don't know where it'll be though although for holidays Florida is high up the list.
