9mm ammunition
Some awesome groups there! Any idea of the distance at which these groups were fired?
Looks like the -5 has a slight edge in accuracy over the -6, but the latter seems to shoot most ammo to the same point of impact, whereas the -5 shows much more variation in POI.
Thanks for the information. Pertinent because I have a SIG 47/8 'target' which looks just like the -5 and I see now that I need to experiment more with loads for it.

Interesting groups, I assume most of them are jacketed ammo.
I have a SIG 210-5LS and have been working with lead projectiles as jacketed are not allowed on our range.
Initally loaded with .356, I had a lot of leading problems.
Measuring the barrel I found it to be .3565 dia, with a .360 throat, so after reworking the dies I am now loading .358 lead and achieving a 10 ring group with little leading.
Load is 128g .358 dia round nose wadcutter with 3.9g AP-70N powder and it runs at 980 fps.

128 gn round nose wadcutter(?) for SIG 210
Hi, David M.
I have an old SIG 210 with two barrels, one 4 and one 5 inches long. Slugged diameter is 3572 and 3574. I use .357 and .358 size lead bullets.
About that 128 round nose wascutter (?) bullet. I have not heard about this bullet. Is it a wadcutter with a slightly pointed, rounded protrusion at the front? What brand of precast, or mould make?
How about feeding reliability with this bullet?
What c.o.l. performs best?
Thanks,
Airpistolero.

210 barrel
Sorry to disturb but I think barrels for 210 are 125 mm and 150 mmI have an old SIG 210 with two barrels, one 4 and one 5 inches long
in that case 5" and 6"
(210-5 is 6" and 210-6 is 5")
As for my part I use 5,2 grain Vectan Ba9 with a jacked bullet.

128 gr round nose wadcutter
The 128gr is hardcast and coated by Hawksbury River Projectiles (a local manufacture in Sydney.
I also have a mould from CBE moulds also 128gr but I have modified it to enlarge it to .358 and 132gr.
It is a fairly long round nose with a shoulder for the wad cutter, the load length is 1.112".
