Florida International Junior Shooting Program has the great pleasure to have Matt Emmons speaking on Saturday December 18th. At a dinner following the FIJSP smallbore JOSC, Mr Emmons will talk to the young shooter participants, parents and youth leaders about his journey in shooting and of course the 2004 Athens experience. All are welcome, RSVP please. http://www.gunsnot.com/dinner.htm

Sorry for the delay in reporting on this dinner - but it has been nuts.

For those of you that made it to the dinner thank you. We had about 60 folks and it was one of Matt's first formal speaking engagements since Athens.

WHAT A SPORTSMAN and spokesman for shooting! Matt (and his family that broke from their vacation to attend as well) gave the attendees, about 2/3 Juniors, almost 4 hours of himself. He took individual pictures with the kids, signed autographs and spoke for one hour on the Athens experience. After dinner he hung around for an hour and talked to the kids one on one. The kids were 'floored' at how normal and not that different he was from them and frankly, not that much older. Matt spoke of "The Shot" and how proud of Mike Anti and the rest of the team he was. It was an absolutely wonderful evening.

It was great fun and Matt is welcome in Florida anytime. he passed to us 15 of his personal digital pictures from Athens, the award stand as well as some candid shots for your enjoyment. http://gunsnot.com/emmons.htm. Enjoy
