NRA and Olympic Shooting

Post by krahling »

Back in the 80's, when I was shooting in college, the NRA was the sanctioning body of US olympic and international shooters. After a number of years and a few children, I'm getting back into shooting, but notice the NRA is no longer filling that role. The official history of the NRA just published doesn't really discuss the issue.

Can anyone help me out by telling me what happened - or at least pointing me in the direction of the answer?

Thanks,

Rich
