I have a 5m SCATT sensor that accepts RJ45 (the 8 core cable) and a friend has a new SCATT unit that uses the RJ11 termination (the 4 core cable).
Has anybody knowledge of if these two items are compatible and if so, what the pin-outs for each end are so that he may borrow my 5m unit?

Re: SCATT Electronic Trainer question
Can I suggest that the first thing to do is check the voltage at the target end of the 2 cables. I THINK you will find that one is gving 12v and the other 5v.PaulT wrote:I have a 5m SCATT sensor that accepts RJ45 (the 8 core cable) and a friend has a new SCATT unit that uses the RJ11 termination (the 4 core cable).
