Hi folks,
I'm looking to get back into air rifle - I want to find an electronic target that I can use at a distance of less than 10 metres (for arguments sake lets say 6 yards as the NSRA has a target for that). From what I can see, the sport quantum SQ10 could do it but I'm wondering if anyone knows whether the free e target could be used at a distance of 6 yards with somewhat decent accuracy?

There is a FB group for the FreETarget which (https://www.facebook.com/groups/831490281129882) would be a good place to start.
You could also shoot using a scatt, using the reduced target, live fire into a trap or dry fire.

I have and Orion Athena home target and am told it can be shot down to 5M. The problem is, after asking, is there aren’t target faces scaled down for that distant. So you use the 10M target face and it does the math on what the 5 meter score would be. Doesn’t make sense to me and haven’t tried it. The electronic target works well and no gripes.

Get SQ10 electronic target from SportQuantum which can scale from 3m to 15m and also does mot require assembly, reprogramming or consumables ;)
Scaling to any distance is done directly from a control tablet (included) and is instantaneous

I remember seeing targets for BB gun at 5M. No idea if the bull is the correct diameter.
Another option would be to cut out the center of a 10M to 5M diameter, and post it backwards on top.
