Sam/Anschutz M10 air pistol parts manual

Post by David M »

Looking for a Sam M10 parts manual, an internet search found nothing and samair.com no longer exists.
Need to know the seal sizes.

I have one, too. I think I was the last customer to be served by them after they went out of business. (Thank you, Marco Dolino.)

You won't be able to get parts, even if you know what you want. Marco sent me extra seals, free, but I'm not turning loose of those.

We're fucked, amigo!

Not to leave you totally stranded....I would go down to ACE hardware and rummage though their huge supply of loose O-rings. Good luck!

I sourced all o rings at a local o ring manufacturer without any problems. Simply take along what you need and supply was not a problem with the exception of a small ( very small ) flat section seal resembling an o ring with flat sides that is hidden internally within the frame directly in front of where the cylinder attaches and requires a special tool for removal which I made.
All problems I had were related to this flat ended seal which produced low and erratic pressure.

The quad seal is one of the problems, but it would be nice to know the size.
I am yet to see the pistol, so far only pictures.

I saw a printed manual a couple of years ago, and it had an exploded drawing and parts list.
I don't remember if it had the dimentions for the o-rings...
Maybe someone who has one, could scan and post it?

After removing the internal regulator parts it is very hard to find the “ quad seal” as you have referred to it David, however it is within a machined piece that looks as if it is a single piece but in fact consists of two parts. Pushing on the projecting pin allows separation.
The o ring size is easily determined as it presses over the pin and then into a machined cup around the base of the pin.
I found an o ring that had its ring OD the same as the width of the cup, drilled a tiny hole and parted it off with a scalpel then pressing it over the pin and into the cup.
The tricky part was determining its depth which turned out to be approx 2 mm.

Once reinstalled it shot perfectly round and consistent holes.

That's a Match 64 action isn't it? Anschutz have 64 manuals as free PDFs on their website: https://www.anschuetz-sport.com/en/down ... leitungen/

These won't cover the stock I'm afraid, as I think that was made by Savage.

Sorry, can't help with the air pistol.

The SA mk 10b was a 2000 action but the 10a was a 64 though.

I've got an M10 that leaks and is no longer needed in my collection. I'd be willing to entertain offers for it. What do you have in mind?

Is the leak internal to the gun or the cylinder?

Looking at the M10 diagram and the Morini 162 ei diagram, it may be possible that part 362 on the m10 is the same (or close) as part 162047T, on the 162EI. It also makes sense as C. Morini designed both pistols...

Thank you, good catch. I emailed Morini and asked if they maybe interchangable or easily modified to work. Hopefully they will respond with good news. Design looks very similar on many parts.

contacted Morini and they told me the parts are not the same. Heres there response. really surprised as there are alot of parts that look the same.

"Actually Morini CM 162EI and SAM M10 are two completely different pistols and for sure the parts are not the same.
Cesare Morini was working in the Morini company and then left and opened SAM in the same place, but we had nothing to do with him."
