RWS R10 quality

Post by Cvb »

How common? I was filling competition pellet box and I found these. This was last tin of the box. Haven't seen this kind of pellets before so much and there was lot of more. Normally I fill all my pellets to the pellet box and before this I have noticed maybe one damaged etc pellet per tin.

R10 should be Premium line? Was these collected from the factory's floor? Or could be transport damages?

I would not worry about them unless you are shooting a match...then just sort them out. Otherwise, just shoot....

Check this thread, and the video from Heinz Reinkemier

Probably transport damage. They are heavy, and overseas shipping can be very brutal. US shipping is none too gentle either. I regular buy cases of .22 ammo, and the "bricks" at the corners are often damaged and get set aside for practice because the case has clearly been dropped multiple times in transit.
