FWB 900

Post by guidolastra »

The 900 model is the new air rifle being promoted at the moment by Feinwerkbau. Any one has any experience or input on it? The current model 800X is an excellent gun, so I wonder if there is any reason to upgrade and pay the extra money (from different websites in Germany should be about 600 or 700 more euros?).

On the FWB website it is being touted as a benchrest rifle:

The 2 pivot points for angling the stock, just behind the hand grip are not there or are different on the 900, as compared to the 800x. I like those 2 adjustments, as the stock nests nicely across my chest as I cant 10 degrees. Also the rotating rear sight is a big plus.

Seeing lots of 900's here at the RIAC 2023. The FWB manual download, has all the info on the adjustability of the 900.
It appears that the 900 has all the 800 has and more. Trigger upgrade, and I am not sure of any thing else of an ugrade, ? ... any one please.

Got the weights first, next will be the 900??
2(160) +5(115)=895g, 900 =4500g, So 5395 g total, a good place to start for me.
