10m Air Rifle Rules

Dumb question, in the ISSF rule book (Standing, g) it says a palm rest is allowed except for 300m and 10m air rifle.
Does this mean that the flat rest under a rifle such as an LG400 cannot be extended below the stock and held by/contacted by the forward hand?
No precision air rifle experience, trying to understand what is allowed or not.
