What is the difference between an NRA Rifle Instructor and a Coach?

I'm not an Instructor, but I believe they teach a wide variety of basic courses offered by NRA including home safety, personal protection. rifle, pistol and shotgun courses, etc. Training Counselors teach the Instructor courses.

Coaches train competitive athletes in specific disciplines. I'm on the National Coach Development Staff that teaches the Level Coach Schools. A few of us are also qualified to teach the Level 3 Coach Schools.
I enjoy traveling to your area to teach Level 1 Coach Schools as well as the Coach & Athlete Clinics I designed and developed. I currently have some grant support from MidwayUSA Foundation to hold the costs down for participants in programs with MidwayUSA Team Endowments.
