I had a little experience that some of you may want to tuck away in your "bag of tricks."
I have a SAM10 with cylinders that were rebuilt and re-dated by the factory. They are marked Anschutz with a manometer (unlike my SAM11).
Both types of cylinders would leak down overnight while on the gun, but not off it. Obviously a gun problem. At the same time, my SCUBA tank was
getting low, so off to the dive shop it went.
Yes it was truly a miracle! Apparently(?), the increase in air pressure was enough to deform O-ring(s) in the gun and it sealed perfectly.
Hey, marky-d, thanks for the clue about the O-ring. We'll see how long this lasts.
