Morini cylinder problem
I had a Morini cylinder completely fail after two years. They never were tight and lost air over time both on and off the gun. I ordered a new one and it seems to be fine. I returned both these cylinders when I got the gun new and the seller returned them saying they were fine. Any comments ? Where are you Rover ?

Re: Morini cylinder problem
Sorry. No Morini experience, but I'd like one.
I did pellet test one for Bill Poole. It was good, but I found (on that gun) that accuracy deteriorated about 15 shots before lockout.

Re: Morini cylinder problem
Well since they leaked somewhere, I assume there was a leaky seal. I put them in water and there were no bubbles that were noticeable.
Re: Morini cylinder problem
I will fill the failed cylinder and see where that one leaks. Just thought of it.
Re: Morini cylinder problem
Did its had air loss in the free state or screwed on the pistol?
Re: Morini cylinder problem
to see if they leak, place them inside a ziplock bag.
I have had cylinders leak at the air tank valve because they get lightly corroded.
If you take a drop of synthetic oil, lube the pin valve and exercise it with something soft like a pointed bamboo skewer about once a year,
they dont become slow leakers. Also, if you have 2 tanks, use both and swap them occasionally .

Re: Morini cylinder problem
Thank you. It's holding air off the gun. Now I have it screwed on to see if holds on the gun. I wish I had waited to replace it. 200.00 dollars down the drain. Not too bright !!!!!

Did you lube the valve and exercise it?
Re: Morini cylinder problem
