I'm getting a windfall beyond imagination thanks to the Social Security cost-of-living adjustment coming next year. Do you have a suggestion for how I might buy a few points with it? Will imbibing older Laphroaig give me a steadier hold?
Is there a better quality compressed air than what I've been getting at the local dive shop?

The secret of the Olympic Training Center is that they are up in the mountains & far from the ocean. It's the dense humid air the dive shops near the coast use that is causing all your errant shots.

Hey William, you know my attitude towards the silly, pathetic attempts of some of the posters here to buy points.
BUT, let me repeat a story I have told here before that you may have missed.
I was shooting Air Pistol at the PRGC one sunny day, and was chatting with a guest shooter from Russia. It seems he was a visiting neurosurgeon. He told me that "back in the old country", doctors in his specialty would have a shot or two of vodka before a brain operation to calm "essential tremor."
Now, I know you're a shaky old bastard, but you CAN afford an occasional jolt of Mother's Sovereign Remedy. Whether or not this will be of help to you, I can't say, but at least you won't care.
Salute!

Rover,
Since your in the Pacific Northwest, any knowledge of ranges / matches in the area would be helpful.
University of Utah seems to hold matches: https://www.upms.org/schedule.php

I'm afraid the Mormons aren't really big on alcoholic beverages.wabbitswayer wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 12:28 pm Rover,
