Tau-7 Hammer

I have a question about a new to me Tau-7.
My question is regarding the hammer. After I cock it, if I press the hammer downward the gun will fire. It takes only a very light touch to make this happen. Is this normal? It seems a little dangerous. Is there some way to adjust the hammer, sear or trigger that will keep this from happening?

I took a look at the adjustment screws 47B & 47C. It looks like the previous owner broke the slotted heads on the screws. The manual calls these M2.5x5 set screws but they used to have slots instead of allen wrench screws.

If I can managed to get the old screws out, can they be replaced with allen wrench type set screws? I am putting in a link that shows the screws that I am thinking of using. M2.5x5 304 Stainless Steel DIN 914 Cone Point Set Screw #21839

I've made exactly that switch on some of my team's pistols. I think the newer models use hex key set screws instead of the slotted ones.

Getting the old ones out can be tricky. Soak them with a good penetrating oil overnight before trying anything. I use "Kroil".

I will probably have to take the sear out to remove the set screws.
From the schematic It looks like if you take the pin out of the trigger (part #42 rocker arm pin), the trigger and sear come right out. It also looks like the really stupid thing to avoid is losing the rocker arm spring #57 when it flies out across the room.
Am I on the right track? What am I missing?

The first time you take something apart, it's a good idea to take a few photos as you go along, and to work inside a large clear plastic bag. That way if something launches, it can't escape. A dry cleaning bag works well.

I got the old set screws out of the sear. Had to drill them out. I managed to use two of the new set screws to tap/clean up the threads of the holes. So now all I need to do is figure out how to put it back together.
