The American Smallbore Shooting Association is pleased to announce that SK Ammunition is the official sponsor of the 2021 Intercollegiate Rifle Club Championships to be held April 10-11, 2021 at The X-Count facility in Ft.Wayne, IN.
Across the US, SK ammunition has become the “go to” .22 rimfire cartridge of choice for countless individuals and teams. SK Ammunition is synonymous with excellent accuracy with a vast product line with offerings suitable for training up through the highest level of competition. In order to enable these student athletes - especially the seniors - to be able to participate in a major competition in 2021 and for collegiate clubs to also satisfy charter mandates, ASSA responded to the challenge and set the groundwork for the championships to move forward.
COVID safety protocols have been established for execution during the championships and will be reviewed during range orientation.

There is SK being delivered to retailers, however the issue is that people are still panic buying and as soon as it is listed it's essentially gone in minutes. As a direct example, there is a thread on snipershide.com with over 23 pages of posts (as of last night) on who has ammo now, price and contact info. You can actually see it posted and in a short time others post that the source has sold out.
In addition, the increase of shooters in events such as ELR and PRS that almost exclusively use either SK or Lapua Center X has resulted in more shooters buying more ammo.
With the low level offerings (i.e. CCI, etc.) dried up or being sold at a cost equivalent to top flight ammo (i.e. Tenex / Midas+), shooters are purchasing whatever they can and more often in bulk than ever before. Unfortunately, this cuts deeply into the competitive prone/3-position scene as the higher grade standard velocity ammo is only what we use.
