Attention Pistol Athletes: Information Regarding 2021 World Cup Selection

The top 4 athletes from Trials (2 Olympians and 2 Alternates) in Air Pistol and Sport Pistol as well as the top 3 athletes in Rapid Fire Pistol will hold the top team slots for the World Cups in 2021. Any remaining start positions will be geared towards a development slot.

In Air Pistol and Sport Pistol 2020 Olympic Team members and alternates shall claim four of the team positions at all 2021 World Cups.

In Rapid Fire Pistol the 2020 Olympic Team Member and 2nd and 3rd place in the Trials Ranking List will be granted the three in-competition positions.

Only those that complete this will be eligible for selection.

Athletes will have until the end of Friday, January 29th to submit their application through this process and any remaining Rapid Fire Pistol entries will be decided by a selection committee using an athlete application process.

Once the application closes the selection committee will use this information provided to determine participants in the 2021 World Cup’s including World Cup New Delhi March 18 – 29, World Cup Changwon, April 16 – 27, World Cup Baku June 21 – July 1.

Only the athletes selected will be notified of their selection once the process is complete.
