Unfortunately, I sold my CO2 scuba tank when I sold my Steyr LP1. Now I am back into the compressed airguns.
Got the Hammerli AP20 Pro and need to figure out how to charge the cylinder.

Silly as it may seem, can I somehow use my Craftsman air compressor or is it unable to produce the 120 DIN I need?
Can't use the hand pump ... I can afford the $300+ compressor seen on the Pyramid site.
Perhaps buy a "used" scuba tank from a dive shop?
Some ideas from the group?

Yes. Or Craigslist.

Be warned: A "cheap" used tank from a private seller will probably need hydrotesting, and that will add a fair chunk to the cost. The dive shop I use charges $35 for a hydro test, $14 for a visual inspection, and $3 for a new O-ring to put the valve back on. Basically, it costs me $52 to get an out-of-date tank recertified so it can be filled.

If the dive shop has used tanks for sale, they should be hydrotested, but possibly not super recently.

My dive shop had lots of used tanks, but the best of the lot would need hydro testing in less than a year. Hydro costs $75 here. Used tank was $150. New one with a full 10 years before hydro and 10 free refills was $250. Easy choice to go new.
