That sounds odd. Check that the rear sight isn't bottoming out on the grip (it happens). If so, a little wood working should fix it.

I recommend chilling the cylinders in a fridge rather than a freezer. If the cylinder gets too cold it will over fill and will not operate properly. I have never had any issues with cylinders over filling at fridge temps. I have a Walther CPM 1 and has been a very fine pistol. I am not familiar with the model you have but I am sure it too is a fine pistol. Good luck.

Blue Walmart Solid Epoxy is your friend here. Its under 5 bucks.

Mix enough of it to mix well, add a small blob to the sight. Squeeze it so you dont have to sand
it a lot..... After it dries, use an emory board to sand it to sight width and square the top.
Hit it with a sharpie of fingernail polish and call it good....
If you dont like it. it will break off with a bit of force...
