Hey y'all.
Looking to get an expert opinion on an Anschutz SAM M10 air pistol.
I'd like to start shooting air pistol in competition but am a little limited by budget.
A club member has one of these pistols that he is willing to part with.
I've heard that there might not be replacement parts available for this model as they were not that popular.
Just wondering what opinions on this pistol might be out there.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Anschutz SAM M10 opinion
I have one. It's a beautiful gun. Dry fire is SOO easy.
Unfortunately, mine is winging its way to Switzerland for repair as we "speak".
They WILL repair it. No one in the U.S. will.
If you don't buy it, "William" will.

Re: Anschutz SAM M10 opinion
A sad tale. I sent my SAM to the factory in Switzerland. About $350 later (postage inc.) it was returned in perfect shape and the cylinders dated 2018.
A while later it started leaking in the gun. I sent it back. No response for a long time. I tried to email, but got a response that they had gone out of business. I hunted down their phone number a called a few times, but no answer or answering machine.
A few days later my repaired gun arrived in the mail with a "Gratis" invoice and a bag of extra O-rings.
I'm happily using it now. I posted on TT looking for a repair person (No hope from Pilk.) and received a response from an Aussie willing to work with me (Thanks!), but no one to tackle the job.
